I will consume any Twidash you throw at me. Also I’ve read most Twidash stories that have 70-200k words, so if you want to start a conversation about a Twidash fic post something in the comments

Heya! I’m a avid reader and love me some good Twidash. I know, I know, such a simple ship. Just throw the main character together with a rainbow pegasus that claims she is 20% cooler or something and call it a day, but hey, you can’t blame me for just how well they go together. They say opposites attract, do they not?

I got into the fandom relatively late, around August of 2018, when I saw the show “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic” on Netflix. I had watched the first episode when I was much younger with a friend of mine (around when it was premiering), so when I saw it on Netflix I remembered that the first episode wasn’t terrible, might as well just try the series out and see where it takes me. Immediately, I was hooked, and there seemed to be no stopping me from watching 24/7. However, I remember seeing a note or whatever near the title saying that this show would be removed from Netflix within 10 days or so. I saw there were currently 7 seasons on Netflix so I aimed to finish almost a season a day, which I somehow managed. Although, after the first 3 seasons I realized that this is probably super unhealthy for me and decided to just watch a couple episodes everyday, if I felt like it, and when the 10 day mark came around I would just have to find the episodes somewhere else, I guess. So when it did I was relieved to see that Hasbro renewed the contract with Netflix and the show stayed on the platform.

I proceeded to watch all 7 seasons on Netflix and then the 8th when it was finally released. I watched the 9th through some piracy websites and that was that. One of the perks of being late is: you don’t have to wait for the next season to come out.

Somewhere along the way I was looking for a MLP background to my phone on deviantart (because I’m that kinda guy) and I found some story mixed in with all the art. I clicked on it because I didn’t even know you could post non-art thing on deviant’ART’. It was just a simple story about Twilight sitting on a bench in a park, reading a book, and Rainbow flying above her looking down at her with appreciation or something corny like that. I can make fun of if it all I want, but it peaked my interest to the fan fiction community within this fandom. Naturally, I looked up a Twidash story on watt pad (because it seemed like a reasonable ship and plus it was the first ship I was exposed to) and it started there. For a while, I confined myself to wattpad and eventually I learned about a website called “FimFiction”, a place specifically for MLP fanfics, and I started reading there. Now this brings us to today where after almost 2 freaking years I am finally writing this.

And that’s my entire life story.

P.S.
To anyone wondering, I am not sure what the name of the first fic I read on deviantart is, but the name of the first fic I read on wattpad is called “Faded” by Galerii (now named some Japanese symbols). It’s an EqG fic if you are into that.
