I Took Down All Of My Future Story Ideas · 11:10pm Jun 21st, 2020
This maybe not the blog you expect me to do but I need to make this clear. I'm not going to stop writing, far from it. It's just that at this moment right now, I've learned a lesson about ideas blog I posted earlier this year (That's been deleted months ago).
If you can tell by the title of this blog, I'm not going to write any further fanfics I planned out. I get you guys are disappointed but ever since this year began after Twilight's Backstage Pass was finished, I've also been having a hard to time focus on the one shots. After finishing the completed The Magic Of Mermaids story, I tried on doing another one shot but after doing the very first paragraphs, I wasn't enjoying on writing it.
It's another Pony Pal story involving The Cutie Mark Crusaders. What drew me off is that fact I know readers won't like it especially being the 5th or 6th time I writing a Pony Pal story. I'm starting to get more bored and less interested while thinking of a way to continue it. This is something I'm having with the other stories, I have the idea fresh but later on, it get's less and less healthy.
I really wanted to do at least most of the stories but after they're completed, when they get submitted, people are mostly sick of the same thing I keep doing. When I did it once, it won't work for the second of third time. Which made me see the whole picture of writing more stories.
Look if you actually wanted to read those stories if they were finished, that's cool I get that but by time, I couldn't get into writing them. Doing the same thing again and again with different ideas can get old and stale. There are only 2 stories I kelp and one of them is ready for submission. Other then the other story, I got nothing. I do have ideas but not sure if I'm gonna to do them instantly.
As of now, I'm doing fanfic readings along with other videos for my Youtube Channel. I'm trying to stay active but keep in made, a lot can happen in a short amount of time. If there's one thing I can say is I'm gonna stick to one idea, write one story description, work on the story, submit it and do the same thing with the next story. That way, it will give me less pressure then before and hopefully, it will get more attention.
I know you can say I can do whatever I want for my stories but even I'm getting sick and tired of doing the same thing, even if it makes me depressed sometimes.
