A bio for a group of characters in an upcoming story of mine. I should mention that each of them have more vehicles than listed; I just chose the ones that will (likely) be featured (or at least mentioned) in the story. This will also receive changes and updates as I flesh out the characters.
Team Flaming Tires
This group of car-loving friends are some of the friendliest competitors you’ll find in the sport. Don’t underestimate them, however; they are affable, take losing with grace, and will help out fellow competitors, but are also competitive, build their vehicles to play to their strengths, and always give it their all! Their name comes from the fact that, even though some of their vehicles won’t win many drag races, the drivers all have an insatiable need for speed.

The captain of Team Flaming Tires, Zoey likes speed, agility and offense, and is willing to sacrifice defensive ability for it. She maintains a clear and level head no matter the situation, and as such, is excellent at helping her teammates not get too flustered. In team-based events, she fights guerrilla warfare (hit-and-run) style and tries to stick to one-on-one battles, due to her vehicles’ glass cannon quality. She is actually the second best driver of the team, tied with Night Rider.
Night Rider

Vehicles: Vauxhall Monaro VXR (Asphalt) and Ford F-150 SVT Raptor (Off-road)
Night is normally quiet and shy, but put him behind the wheel of a vehicle in this sport and he becomes a very different stallion! He is a highly aggressive driver, often not stopping his assault of someone until they’re taken out, are out of range, or a better target presents itself, though there are still moments where he takes the cautious route. Like a high-level driver, his aggression is measured and controlled, rather than flat-out reckless. Even if he’s unable to do much damage, he’s great at keeping someone’s attention focused on him.
Dawn Rider

Night’s younger brother. In comparison, Dawn is bolder, a bigger gambler; it can be a bit reckless at times, but he’s still a skilled driver. He favors beefy offense and defense, and is willing to trade some acceleration power for it. As a result, his vehicles can reach high speeds; they just take extra time to get there. When he plays aggressor, he is the team member most willing to make risky moves, whether it’s to take out an opponent or aid another teammate; his big brother playfully calls him “Mr. Kamikaze” because of it.

The “tech guy” of the team. Marco is technically-oriented and good with numbers, and uses both qualities to help extract the best results from the equipment he has, often by working on the little details just as much as the big ones. He is also a highly skilled, precise and technical driver who possesses a large understanding of the mechanics, physics and sciences behind vehicle components, driving maneuvers, etc., and is able to explain them well in layman’s terms. He prefers form following function, and is regarded as the best driver of Team Flaming Tires, although he humbly says that Zoey makes a better leader than he does. While his teammates are impressed by his analytical abilities, Marco is most-impressed by Night’s ability to drive skillfully with barely a thought, instead effectively going on little more than intuition, instinct and on-the-fly decision-making.

The quirky, upbeat “Sparky” is a fan of the roads less traveled. He definitely has a “silly streak”, but he’s still not a driver to be counted out; he is excellent at performing feints and last-second maneuvers, and can prove to be a difficult opponent because of his erratic driving style. He doesn’t really have a favored type of vehicle, instead building them to on-a-whim specs; this in turn means they often have at least a few surprises up their sleeves. His tail-out driving and vehicle number have earned him the nickname “Crazy 8.”
Sierra

Colors: orange fur, yellow hair, brown eyes
Cutie mark: flaming sword
Vehicle livery: orange with sharknose

Vehicles: Dodge Charger LX (Asphalt) and Chevrolet Avalanche (Off-road)
Tomboyish hippogriff Sierra is easy to spot: she looks like an ordinary pegasus... except she has griffon claws. She is the heavy weapons specialist of the team, and uses powerful, large-caliber weapons on her vehicles. Sierra is also a fan of muscle cars and trucks, and it shows in both her vehicle choices and their mechanical specs.
