The Elements of Ilvermorny: The (Hu)Mane Eight - Character Profiles

So, following up on the announcement of The Elements of Ilvermorny (something that's been in the works for a while), I've decided to create a post detailing the character profiles of the main cast; a basic rundown of their personalities, their houses*, blood statuses (something I find an unfortunate and oftentimes problematic element in the Harry Potter series, admittedly, but it's a necessary

New fic announcement: The Elements of Ilvermorny Series

Hey, all. I'm making this blog to announce I am embarking on a new project: an Equestria Girls/Harry Potter crossover. Now, I have always loved the Harry Potter books and films; unfortunately, there aren't very many crossovers with EQG, and the few I've seen tend to fall into the same traps that plague the vast majority of Potterfic as a whole. Hence, I plan to do something just a little

News Regarding Starfleet: Magic is Believing

I will not bother with pleasantries or long-winded explanations as to why I'm creating this blog, I'm gonna get straight to the point - I'm deleting Starfleet: Magic is Believing. Primarily for the standard "Old Shame" reasons: it's not my best work, the writing is clunky, long, and awkward (as well as being rather vague), and it feels too dark and edgy for my taste. These reasons can be

News Regarding Starfleet: Magic is Believing · 1:22pm May 30th, 2020

I will not bother with pleasantries or long-winded explanations as to why I'm creating this blog, I'm gonna get straight to the point - I'm deleting Starfleet: Magic is Believing. Primarily for the standard "Old Shame" reasons: it's not my best work, the writing is clunky, long, and awkward (as well as being rather vague), and it feels too dark and edgy for my taste. These reasons can be chalked up to lack of confidence in my writing abilities, thus feeling that I needed a co-writer (a close friend of mine) to help me along. Suffice to say, our visions clashed to some degree, we both got bored with the story, and just left it unfinished.

Not to worry, however - after much thought, I'm putting together ideas for a new version of Starfleet: MiB. One that is much lighter and more comedic in tone (but with some of the darker elements still lurking underneath), heavily influenced by cartoons from the 1980s and 1990s (such as TMNT, Ren and Stimpy, Animaniacs, and Voltron to name a few), shonen anime, and more importantly, early seasons of Power Rangers in all their cheesetastic glory; because let's face it, while writers like Legendbringer and Scipio Smith have gone with darker interpretations of Mykan's work, and while others like SenorCornholio have gone with similarly light interpretations, nobody has tried to hone in on the narmy, Saturday morning cartoon goodness that is Starfleet's very concept.

So expect to see the new version of Starfleet: Magic is Believing quite soon.

Will the basic plot still be more or less the same?

Cool looking forward to it

Aaaaw. The original may not have been perfect, but people still enjoyed reading it. If you know anyone who has a copy, please tell me, as I was interested.
