    Narcolepsy

Fairly certain I have narcolepsy after having my first sleep paralysis moment. Evident with my constant need to sleep every day when the sun is up.

Probably should’ve disclosed it earlier. It wasn’t just school and jobs that hindered updating my fics, but also I’m constantly void of energy and having the desire to sleep.

    Fanfiction

Need your opinions on this. It’s clear the idea of Soldier of Three Armies wasn’t suited for a crossover. In fact, making it a crossover with MLP made it worse in my opinion.

    Theme for General Hassan Alraml

The true heir to the throne of Vacuo, the man who destroyed the Atlesian 6th Army, the Guardian of Vacuo and the Bane of Atlas

Putting this here because I have a bad habit of forgetting things. Yes that includes writing down notes for ideas for my RWBY fanfic. The song’s just so fucking good.

3rd Precinct Minneapolis Police Department · 5:37am May 29th, 2020

The Minneapolis Police Department has completely abandoned the 3rd Precinct. Protesters have gained control of the police station and are now burning it to the ground.

It’s actually pretty beautiful, like watching an occupying force abandon the war zone.

Anyways, you’ve gotta really fuck up when you have both the Left and the Right like Ben Garrison come together and say, “Fuck the police”. Just like what Bernie supporters say, “Fuck around and find out.”

And the MPD did fuck around and found out.

But I also heard the National Guard is on their way. Don’t stop on the 3rd Precinct. Burn the other police stations as well.

Stay safe ya’ll. Denver and Los Angeles getting some protests as well. This is not the end.

They police department literally fire the 4 officers, and now the FBI is investigating them. The governor and police chief are in agreement that the actions taken against Floyd were wrong, literally everything that could've gotten right went...well, right!

Because when these people were peacefully protesting, the police fired on them.

When armed Conservatives protested, occupied government buildings, and some even actually fighting officers, the police held their fire.

People have had enough of the bullshit of American police officers. They’ll peacefully negotiate and arrest white males who just murdered more than a dozen people but will choke to death a black man selling cigarettes or shoot a black man in his backyard who was innocent.

Or break into a wrong home and gun down a black female EMT in her own home.

Or kneel on the neck of a black man who they believe had a forged check.

Or gun down a black man in his car during a routine traffic stop who was only going for his wallet and his ID.

Or literally assassinate Fred Hampton but schools don’t want to talk much about the likes of Fred Hampton or Malcolm X.

I normally agree with you, but not with this one. Let me explain why.

During the protests police routinely arrived at the protest to keep guard, which happens at every protest in the United States. Unfortunately for Law Enforcement protesters started throwing bricks, rock's, and other objects at officers for no reason. Leading Law enforcement to begin using teargas to rubber bullets to disperse the crowd, while this was happening rioters in other part of Minneapolis were looting stores, attacking Law enforcement, and assaulting innocent bystanders. Let's also not forget law enforcement was called off and instructed to stand down hours into the riots.

BTW there were no shots fired, as well as minimal assaults made during the Michigan protests, the protests were the very definition of peaceful; but that doesn't mean I agree with their sentiment. Also, let me introduce to you these fine gentlemen.

As well as these two articles about the Michigan protests.

Look, I agree with you that the death on George Floyd was wrong, idiotic, and stupid. But all four (ex)officers are currently being investigated by the FBI as we speak. BTW no hard feelings, I just felt it right to say something here, stay safe man.

I’m not anti-2nd amendment. After seeing how Conservatives are able to carry weapons and occupy government buildings, Leftists should do the same.

Me? When the opportunity arises, I’m getting guns as well.

what were they even protesting cause I don't watch tv I only play games

George Floyd, a black man, was suffocated to death by a police officer who was kneeling on his neck. Protesters called out the department to fire every officer involved, which they did, and then people found out multiple officers were involved with the deaths of innocents for years and got away with it. *ahem* Amy Klobuchar *ahem*

Also people were outraged how police responded with riot gear and tear gas when other police didn't do so when Conservatives brought guns and occupied government buildings.

So they surrounded the station and burned surrounding buildings. When the cops were given the order to abandon the station, it was set on fire. This itself shattered police image, it showed people that the police are not invincible. You can force them out and burn down their stations.

And I can't help but feel sympathetic to the protesters. Police have been doing all kinds of shit and have been getting away with it.

THANK YOU! Finally someone says it. If the enemy declares war, you don't refuse to fight back out of fear they'll shoot you, that's how France fell in WW2.

That said... I'm genuinely worried about how this all ends. Actually giving a damn about these fuck ups enough to do something is, unfortunately, COMPLETELY out of the norm in the states. When something gets fucked up enough to provoke THIS? From a population as desensitized and apathetic as America? It's the kind of thing I just can't see going away. This could very well be The Line, The boiling point where things explode and there's no going back.

These idiot cops just woke up a giant that was sleeping so deeply it might as well have been dead... If a violent revolution is what it takes, fine, I'll shed no tears for dead fascists... It'd be nice if it played out like Ghandi or MLK's revolutions, the politicians, suddenly confronted with an inevitable violent alternative, giving up and accepting the inevitable change peacefully. But... Well, my instincts this bunch doesn't have the brain cells to think things through that far. Someone was always going eventually fuck up bad enough to provoke an uprising against them, maybe this is where it starts. Maybe we're that lucky.

The problem with following MLK’s and Gandhi’s examples is the American government for sure, both parties, have worked to ensure peaceful protests won’t work.

That’s easy to do. Control the media.

So people resort to violence. No way the media cannot ignore it.

I wish Americans are more willing to protest to improve their lives like the Yellow Vests in France instead of waiting for someone to get killed. There’s a reason why American media has been ignoring them.

I think the real issue here isn't the obvious one. What happened was of course terrible and there should be justice, but the good and bad of both the police and those reacting to them are being lumped together which only results in everyone hating each other and fueling a cycle of violence.
