To be honest, I'm starting to regret ever signing up on this site. I've had to make my readers sit through long waiting periods between updates. One user kept emailing me at ungodly hours to help him write a story that he stole from a friend of mine. My original writing is crap, and I should've just deleted all my old stories (god I sucked back then and I don't know if I've really gotten any better). A comment on recent stories informed me that I used to write pretty cringy/edgy. He's probably right. Heck, I'd say he is now that I think about it. My old stuff is kinda bad. So much so that I needed to reboot it to be decent. Maybe I'll just scrap all my stories and try again. It'd be a hell of a lot easier than going down my path already. Still, that kinda kills my enjoyment of this as a hobby. But let's be real. I kinda suck at this. And it probably hasn't helped a lot of my readers are so quick to support me and say "You're a great writer!" and whatnot.I barely write now and when I'm in school. I guess I was just too excited to write out what I thought would be fun that I didn't even stop to consider if it would be good. I'm not even that huge of a fan of the show, I primarily wanted to write my Yu-Gi-Oh! stories at first. I think I might be on the wrong site now. So, I might be moving to a different site, or just scrapping my ties here altogether. I just don't feel excited by writing like I used to. So many of my stories could be told WITHOUT linking them to MLP (the greatest restriction on this site). Please keep in mind I don't say all of this because I feel hurt. The user who commented didn't intend anything mean or malicious. So for the love of god, PLEASE don't go after them. I just sort of realized that I. . . don't NEED this site. Sure, sites like Fanfiction.net, wattpad, and A3 risk a lot more exposure to negativity, but that's the net for you. I'll at least get my latest story done, that I promise you. But the future is pretty uncertain. Maybe I'll move one of my series reboots to one of the new sites. But until then, I'll continue writing here. All of this has got me rethinking a lot
Ok I understand. I hope you do reconsider still writing on here. If not I do hope you will leave a link to where you be writing next
Just know that even when it looks like things don’t look good. I say that what you write are amazing and that you’ll always improve as you keep writing

I've considered moving to FanFiction.net. I'll have a lot more freedom, plus I can just reupload most of my stories there. I'd only port over the reboots though. They're a lot better written, and I'm more proud of them.

When I start, it might just be my Elements of Heroism series. I'll more than likely rip plot from the reboot, but I might need some help in developing characters and plot a lot more.

Congrats bro, I feel like I'm in the same exact boat as you 3 years ago or smth. I'd beg my brother for some data and I'd end up reading your fics for hours until I slept thinking it was cool. But now I honestly feel I was cringy and edgy, and I'm trying to make my small hobbies into actual hobbies now. But I honestly still feel you have potential as a writer. Just watch Terrible Writing Advice more lol

Well, I really wasn't trying to be any of those things. It's just the opinion of one guy. I have considered rewriting, and I have story ideas for other things I enjoy. Unfortunately, this site cannot fully support them due to my ideas not linking to MLP. So, really, I'm moving because this site is just too restrictive now. I'll be posting up rewrites of my Elements of Heroism series, and concluding that series on Fanfiction.net. But it'll probably be more polished. And if you truly enjoyed my stories, don't be ashamed about it. That's advice members of any fandom need to hear.

Well I did enjoy it, and I am not ashamed of it. But like with all stories I read and like, I am hung over their flaws. And TBH there were some anime tropes I cringed a bit at, even at the time.
I hope you still write here. Despite the writing being poor; I can tell that you've improve from your reboot stories, and that's a good thing.

I'm sorry to say it might not be likely. I'll still continue EoH on fanfiction.net. Just more polished. Plus, I can't really see myself continuing my writing here because I have other things I want to write stories for. Having to almost explicitly use MLP as the source kind of restricts me.
