Hey everyone. I've been doing some thinking lately, and I realized I'm pretty much never going to get my series done at this point. College just demands too much of my time. Everyone says to "look at the positive", "life's not just school". Or, here's a classic one, "go out and meet people." It's so easy for people to say, but doing it is nigh impossible when you've got a mountain of work to do and classes that demand your full attention so you have no time for fun. I've been able to squeeze in some gaming, but I think that might be more of a con than a pro given my lousy performance on two of my exams so far. So, in order to pass, I'm considering deleting my account or going on a permanent hiatus.
I hate keeping you all waiting, but I just can't see writing as feasible now, or even in the future. Maybe after everything blows over I'll pick up my old hobbies, but that's a fool talking. No more videogames, no more writing, no more anime. Probably not until I've got a job. Everyone says how I'm so lucky to be in college. That I'm so priveleged to be "getting a higher education". They never told me I'd have to give up what I enjoy doing just so I can barely pass. I know going to college is a privelege. I know how lucky I am. And most of all, I know I'm not the only one who's having it rough in college. But in all honesty, I don't feel like I've learned a damn thing except for the fact that life sucks when you need to be an adult. And that you have to give up things you enjoy and a social life in a trade-off for success.

Not having enough time doesn't have to be the end. Most people just take a hiatus until they feel like writing again. Hell most stories on here don't get updated for months if not years, but there still are people who patiently wait because they care and know that life likes to shoulder check writers. What my english composition professor preaches is that it is healthy to always take a break.
