If you work near a bread slicer...

... be sure to wear cut-resistant gloves. Slicing your finger open on rapidly-moving blades is not a fun experience, nor is cleaning the wound afterwords. Safety regulations are there for a reason! I'm lucky that I still have an intact finger, and that it'll be healed up fully within a month, but that's something I hope none of you ever have to experience.

Hi everyone

As some of you might have noticed, I haven't posted anything in a while. I do have a bunch of short stories I'd like to write (including 'Princess Celestia is replaced by an Ohio-class submarine 2'), but despite all my efforts to sit down and write something, the drive just isn't there. When I was writing the 'Monster' trilogy, that drive was always present, even if there were rough days or moments where nothing came out onto the keyboard. Now, that drive is gone.

With that said, I've decided to go on a hiatus and see if the drive comes back. It'll probably last until September, as I have numerous other non-pony projects that need to be finished. I'll still check in for private messages, but for now, any pony-related writing is on hold.
