School of Friendship

Okay, let's get it straight - I think that this whole School of Friendship actually a godawful and stupid idea and just another Hasbro (failed) attempt to replace M6. Why do I think this way? Lets me explain my reasoning.

First. This whole "learn magic of friendship" works for Twilight because at the beginning of the show she been a rather antisocial nerd girl who doesn't care about others. So Celestia's efforts to make her learn what friendship is kinda worked like a charm. Problem is that this idea (in my personal opinion) doesn't really scale up. Friendship a relatively simple thing so you can't really make a school that based solely on teaching it to others. Well, unless your school filled with Twilights.

Which leads to the second problem. Writers themselves don't have the faintest clues on how to teach friendship. Like, at all. You have seen what M6 teaches students? Fashion, animal care, some apple-related things, party-making, and other stuff that I barely remember. Let's admit it - most of these things have a little to none connection to friendship.

And this leads to problem number three. M6, with some possible exceptions of Twilight, doesn`t really qualify as teachers. They don't know what to teach and how to teach others.

And, finally, problem number four. M6, in general, rather busy mares. Pinkie work at "Sugar Corner", Rarity has three shops in three different cities (and make all dresses by herself), Dash a Wonderbolt, Fluttershy have her animal shelter and take care of animals and AJ work at the farm. They don't really have time to be teachers, work, and take care fo Map of Friendship missions.

In general, at some level, I agree on Neighsay when he tried to shut this school down.
