I like how it's going so far; a number of reads, some editing, my own notes added to the ends, and now with Cover Art!
I can't even begin to tell you how stoked I was to see the characters in full, breathing color on my screen... I actually cried, y'all. Yeah yeah yeah, I know - I'm a sap. But seeing your own creations come to life like that is still new to me; to have worked on these characters for roughly a year or two, only seeing them in my own head... and then watching before my eyes as they leap from my cranium to the world of visual existence?
What a rush. What a HELL of a rush.
I wanna thank my dear friend Lord Valtasar for being so kind as to provide this wonderful piece of art for me to use here, as I am blown away by how exactly the pictures on the screen match the ones in my heart... because my characters are like my fictional children (as I'm sure many of you can relate), and each one of them is a potential star to me.
To see them in that picture, together - as they should be - just makes it all worthwhile, y'know?
