Discussion time!
Alright, so I've been working on a rather... violent one shot story; ponies with guns, artillery, etc. I've made some pretty good progress thus far, but I'm in a bit of a pinch.

I'm certain that most of you have read Fallout: Equestria (Except FlutterDash, but they're excused), so you might already know where I'm going with this. I want to give my ponies firearms in this era, more specifically WWII-style weaponry. There will of course still be your odd spear and shield here and there, but a problem arises when on the subject of Earth Ponies and Pegasi: fingers and triggers. There can be a justification for Unicorns, Griffins and Changelings because fingers and magic, but there's a fair bit of work to be done when it comes to the other two. I have some ideas that are similar to the Battle Saddle present in Fallout: Equestria, but I don't want it to get to the point where it's just a straight AU ripoff. There are some rifles where Earth Ponies and Pegasi can only use them when in the prone position, but what about standing? And furthermore, what about handguns? Again, there are variants that can be clearly used by magic-wielding and finger-having species in the world of MLP, and there's also the instances where Earth Ponies and Pegasi can just use a handgun by grabbing it in their maw and pulling the trigger with their tongue or something, but there's got to be a more practical solution right?

well tactile telekinesis on the hooves could be a good option. after all how do they hold stuff upside down sometimes.
