Future Stories · 6:13pm Apr 21st, 2020

Greetings, folks! This is Joker! Now that The Dark Knight/MLP Trilogy is over, I have made a short list of stories that will be published in the future. The list is as follows.

List of Stories:

  1. Sunset’s Uprising
  2. Magical Difficulties
  3. My Little Ratchet
  4. Ego Fight
  5. Dashing Sideswipe

The first one will premiere around next Wednesday evening (4/29). The second and fourth stories will be both Legion of Doom fics that will feature only Chrysalis, Tirek, and Cozy Glow. The third and fifth ones will be short Transformer crossover fics that will feature only the title characters from the Bayverse along with a couple of ponies.

That’s all for now. If you have any questions or thoughts based on this list, please share them in the comment section.

Thanks and be safe!

Quick Question: Why are you using the Bayverse versions of Ratchet and Sideswipe?

I knew someone would ask me that. Well, here are my reasons:

The reason is that they are my favorite versions of Ratchet and Sideswipe. As a matter of fact, I was introduced to them in the first two films.

Ratchet is shown as a kind, intelligent, and caring medic in the Bayverse even though he doesn’t have plenty of screen time. Don’t get me wrong, I also enjoy Prime and Animated Ratchets, but those guys were portrayed as either grumpy or just a little too strict while being courageous and faithful. Bayverse Ratchet feels more comfortable in my opinion.

Sideswipe is a very cool bot in the films. And let me tell you, I much prefer this Sideswipe than that egotistical asshole in Robots in Disguise, who learns one good lesson then forgets it in the next episode. Bayverse Sideswipe is more relatable to me because he is a much more mature and smart squad leader. His relationship with Ironhide is also great.

Those are my reasons. I want to give them more spotlight. You don’t have to agree with me or read those stories when I will publish them.

Oh, I am definitely going to read them as soon as you publish them. :raritywink:

As for your reasons, even though I don't completely agree with them, I do find them quite interesting. I think it's great that you'll be giving the Bayverse versions more spotlight. They desperately need it and you have no idea how long I've been waiting to see or read a story where those robots can display the full range of the personalities you mentioned.

With that said, I'm not really sure if they'll become my favorite incarnations of the respective characters even after seeing what you've planned for them. I mean, Sideswipe might, because he's never featured that much in any Transformers media and the only versions of him that I like are the ones in G1 and Armada. Also, yeah, the RID incarnation is really awful.

As for Ratchet, I was never a fan of his Animated version due to his excessively gruff personality and annoying voice. Yeah, I don't care about the fact that he was voiced by Corey Burton. We both know that the man is best suited to voicing Shockwave. With that said, I do love the Prime version of Ratchet and I think he's my all-time favorite incarnation of the character. His grumpiness is balanced by tons of hilarious moments and that he's probably the most evolved character by the time the series ends. Besides, his voice actor was pretty amazing in the role. Did you know that he also voiced the Question in Justice League: Unlimited and Brainiac in Injustice 2?

Anyway, those are my thoughts. You're welcome to either agree or disagree with them. I wish you all the luck in the world with your projects. Take care.

He also played Scarecrow in The New Batman Adventures. Very underrated version of the character.

Thank you for understanding my reasons, and I definitely understand your thoughts and agree with most of what you said. Glad to see you excited. You take care also.

Oh, I forgot about that! Thanks for reminding me.

Yeah, he also did a good job as Scarecrow, but he was not the best actor to portray him, in my opinion. That honor belongs to either one of these three:

- Cillian Murphy in The Dark Knight Triology
- John Noble in Batman: Arkham Knight
- Robert Englund in Injustice 2

Anyway, I wish you luck and safety once again. I also have several stories to write and I would really like to finish them ASAP. Also, don't worry, I haven't forgotten about the upcoming sequel to WHAT I'VE DONE. See ya! :scootangel:

Leigon of Doom fics, eh?

I'll keep my eye out for those.
