Deep breath.
Besides the fires, everything has mostly been fine on my end. Little by little work has been implementing more rules due to the coronavirus pandemic. Employees and customers must be six feet apart at all times, we must wear gloves at all times, deli food must be ordered before you come to the counter, so on and so forth. We even have a new boss for the time being.
Needless to say, customers have been major pricks about it, and have been mighty rude as of late. We are not hit hard with the virus, I am out in the country, but I wish people would just plant their feet, grit their teeth, and be respectful. I live with old family members with bad immune systems. I can not risk exposure to this, because if I brought it home, they would likely die.
I just have to make do with what I can, but I have been given full permission to subject this rules to customers, or else kick them out for not following them. If I fail to do this, the company sent a email about terminating those who don't follow the proper procedures. It's just gonna continue to get worse before it gets better.
I hope this oncoming storm passes soon, because I got enough stress as is. I'll deal with it all the same, as I usually do, but one can hope.
But writing, the thing you guys come to me for. Sorry to say, I haven't written much. I have drawn a bit, and I can show that off.

As you can see, I haven't finished these. Much like writing, my art has been taking a dip as life continues to escalate my responsibilities. Not to say I haven't given the effort towards writing and art, I certainty have. I just haven't given it all the focus I could, and honestly, I am fine with that. Catching up on gaming I missed out on has been great, and bullshitting with friends online after work is loads of fun.
I will be publishing a story this month, I can assure you of that. I want to make a horror story for The Barcast horror in April competition. I have fleshed out many ideas for it, but I think I finally have one worth a damn. Hopefully I can pull it off and score at least an honorable mention. Only time will tell.

Some people haven't been taught proper manners, or just don't care.
I try to if it's them, but they do were me down after a while. I am glad to finally have some days off. I even managed some writing last night after this.

Bad situations bring out the best and worst in people. Still though, it's cool that your work has your back on dealing with troublesome customers.
