How I got into MLP:FIM · 1:43am Mar 26th, 2020

It was back in March 26, 2019, exactly one year. It all started with an NSFW image that I found whilst browsing at e621. It's an image of anthro Nightmare Moon made by doctor-sfm. She has abs, wears nothing but black high-heeled boots, and crouches with her left hand on her thigh and her right hand pointing to her lovely crotch as she looks at the viewer seductively with bedroom eyes and behind her is a beautiful night sky. Other images I discovered from the same artist were a nude NMM standing in front with blue shiny crystals behind her and NMM standing on her back wearing nothing but white heels and showing off her ass and glowing crotch.
I searched for clips of the show where NMM has appeared in and I'm absolutely in love with her villainous nature. I found out that she's the corrupted version of Princess Luna, which made me interested in FIM gradually. The very first episode that I watched was Luna Eclipsed and damn, she's one hell of a princess. What made her special was her royal Canterlot voice as she struggled to adjust to life and celebration of Nightmare Night in Ponyville after being banished to the moon for 1,000 years and being liberated from evil thanks to the Mane 6.
I became more interested by watching other episodes, including the ones where Queen Chrysalis appeared in, and clips of the movie. I listed my top 12 pony crushes in my Tumblr blog on March 30. As I watched even more episodes, I never looked back and I had a newfound appreciation for MLP:FIM. I made an announcement on April 14 that I officially considered myself a brony.
I began faving a lot of sexy anthro MLP fan-art that later became sources of inspiration for my clopfic. I didn't binge-watch all the episodes because I just don't have the time. I only watched some that are appealing to me personally.
There you have it! That's how I got into MLP:FIM and eventually became a brony. I'm fortunate that I became one at the perfect time and I didn't get to experience bullying/cyberbullying for simply being one. But this was before I signed up to Fimfiction, so expect a blog post on what made me join here on April 30, which will mark the 1st anniversary.

That's a unique way to get into the show! Funny enough I refused to check out clop for the first five years into the fandom, simply because the innocence was what initially drew me to the show.
It's only when I started to lose interest as the old writers were replaced that I started to check out ecchi stuff, and even then only humanized versions at first; which is weird since I've been a furry pretty much all my life!
Like Dr Sharaz Jek said that a unique way to get into the show! *laughs* fortunately for you, the cupcake PMV didn't get you first like the older fans of 2012's which it become a generic introduction of early years of the community on how I discovered the show. I'm pretty much into anthro since Lola bunny came to be, seeing the a anthro version of Chrysalis and Luna make me smile on how creative people can be and a wonderful smartphone wallpaper.
I was part of an anime club when FiM came out and we decided to watch this show. Wasn't too big a fan of it at first due to the earlier MLP commercials that kept popping up on CN in the early to mid 2000's with that grating theme song. I eventually warmed up to FiM and got an account on this site.
