Today would have been my best friend's 28th birthday. If he were here he'd no doubt find some way to volunteer during the current crisis. Probably delivering groceries for the elderly or something along that line. He was such a good person. Not to mention he could do one of the best Peter Griffin impressions I'd ever heard. I miss him so damn much.
Mother Nature goes on, global pandemics or no. My family and I have been taking care of a stray cat who's pregnant. Soon there will be kittens running around and playing. Death by pure cuteness is the way I would like to go 
If you want some binge watching suggestions, my current favorite anime just had its season finale. Seton Academy: Join the Pack! is crazy absurd, yet genuinely heartwarming. Full of ecchi and social commentary as well. Best part is that the school uniforms are purple so it's easy to pretend it's some alternate reality Crystal Prep 
I've also been going through a British satire series from the 80s called Spitting Image. It uses ugly puppets to mock the politics of the era. I don't always understand the Thatcherism jokes, but the Reagan Administration ones are awesome. Even if you've never heard of this show, you've likely seen the puppets already from Genesis' Land of Confusion music video:
