    Knives Out

So, Knives Out was a lot better than I expected. I’d recommend if you like a decent murder mystery. It’s a bit different than any other I’ve ever seen. Worth giving it a try I’d say.

    My Latest Story

Happy February everyone! I hope y’all had a good Valentine’s Day one way or another. I got sick and it ended up being one of the least romantic days ever, haha. But, I did give my wife a skull for her skull pile, and she was quite amused by this. I totally earned a point.

    Happy new year!

Happy new year everyone! I have fallen off of my monthly blog posts for personal reasons. I never left, but I just felt my time was best invested on the home front, and so I had even taken a short break from writing while I handled things.

TFI Update · 11:15am Mar 18th, 2020

So I recently realized that I have been working on The Friendship Initiative for about a year now. Not only that, but I have now completed 18 chapters, and we are a little over 40,000 words in.

I don’t really do goals for length when I’m writing... I sort of just write what the muse tells me to and it is what it is. Considering I rarely make outlines or plan out things, it’s a wonder I make sense at all. I think I was over 200,000 words into TLCMC before I had a map to how it would end, haha.

TFI is a bit smaller of a story. Whereas TLCMC had eight protagonists who you got to follow and a host of side characters, TFI has only two. So, it is quite a lot more focused. The tone is also quite different. TLCMC was very much about dealing with loss in a setting with quite a lot of death. While I can’t say for sure whether or not there is any death in TFI, it’s certainly not the rule. As such, it has a lot more levity as Scootaloo and Ash Eater try to figure each other out.

There are going to be a few characters that return to support this story. In fact, my least favorite sidekick from TLCMC will show up. The first person to guess who that is gets a cookie. :raritywink:

That’s all I’ve got for now! Whichever your preference, read on and write on my friends!
