Okay, so I know we're all a little freaked out about the coronavirus. I mean, it's the worst plague ever, right?
NOPE!
In reality, the flu is more deadly than the coronavirus. The only reason the coronavirus is so terrible is that 1) it's new, and 2) there's no anti-viral for it.
That doesn't mean it's going to kill you!
Still, it does pose a threat. People with weaker immune systems (like elderly people, babies and young children, and people with compromised immunity) are at a bigger risk if and when they get it.
However, do not fear! There are ways to prevent getting the coronavirus!
- Stay active!
- Drink plenty of water!
- Eat healthy! (I know, it sucks...)
- Get plenty of sleep!
- Most importantly, STAY POSITIVE!!! Fear and depression compromise the immune system. If your afraid of getting the coronavirus, then you will be more likely to get it!
The media always exaggerates things. In reality, most people who get the coronavirus have a few symptoms before making a recovery and going back to their normal lives.
So, the next time you find yourself stressing out about the coronavirus, just take a few deep breaths and remember that it's not as bad as it seems.
