One of my original songs - finally got around to recording the instrumental · 8:57am Feb 12th, 2020
I tend to fanny about a bit when I'm sat down in my room recording. It got progressively more addictive once I got a professional headset I can plug into my amp without disturbing anybody as I play late into the night. I don't do it often, mind you, but have you ever felt like you wanted to get something done with so it can get out of your head and quit nagging you? That was me, so I recorded an instrumental.
I'm not giving anything away just yet. No title, no hints, nothing. I will only say that I've been toying around trying to get the setting in GarageBand where I want them for my clean tone. That was a bit of a pain in itself. I've been busy recording all night trying to get the correct sound / tone for the song I was working on, knowing how I want it to turn out when it's done as a whole.
All that's left is the bass part and the vocals then I'm done. Well, after some editing here and there, probably. I don't do shabby. I even rewrote the lyrics because I'm incredibly antsy and artsy-fartsy about rhyme and rhythm. I won't be satisfied until it's smoothly-flowing and it sounds at least decent. If not, I'm going to keep at it until it's the way I want it, which I'm glad to say seems like it's worked out.
I hope to share it with you one day. Peace and love, Brethren.

When you release it, I will be sure to give it a listen
