    Seeking her Crown: Update 3/3

    Good evening, fillies and gentlecolts!

I hope the day is finding you well. As usual, I'll be starting with the current word count for the upcoming sequel. And, as usual, it's absolutely abysmal.
Start of 7/27 Shift Goal: 13,000 words
Actual 7/27 Word Count: 2,798 words (10,203 word deficit)

    Seeking her Crown: Update 2.1/3

Quick head's up. While I've been moving ahead pretty well with getting a lot of the key story points written down, I've actually not managed to get the first chapter to a publishable point just yet. So, the hopeful early release this coming Saturday won't be happening. See y'all Monday night for the last pre-release update.

    Seeking her Crown: Update 2/3

    Good evening, fillies and gentlecolts!

Let's go ahead and get the shaming out of the way. Another week is down, and it's another week with massively sub-par returns on word count to report. Here's the numbers:
Start of 7/20 Shift Goal: 8,000 words
Actual Word Count: 2,192 words (5,808 word deficit)

Week 1 Recap: (Not) Such a Good Start · 4:05pm Feb 3rd, 2020

Whelp everypony,

The first week of my new writing "experiment" has come to a close and I did so wonderfully! Almost as well as Chrysalis's conquest of Canterlot. Wait, she failed to take Canterlot... Well, OK, yeah, I stand by what I said. Monday got things off to a good start. I pulled off over 1,000 words for a the next chapter of You Think You Know Somepony... but then I started to feel under the weather. Three cheers for the flu! The rest of the week, just getting my usual work done was enough of a chore on shift, much less finding the energy to write. The best I managed to do was about another 100 words for a one-shot story. As such, I really don't have much to say this post, so I'll be gearing up for a new shift and a new shot at getting some words to screen. I really hope I'll get to a point where I can post a new chapter shortly, but at least I'll see y'all next week for the next update.
