    Seeking her Crown: Update 3/3

    Good evening, fillies and gentlecolts!

I hope the day is finding you well. As usual, I'll be starting with the current word count for the upcoming sequel. And, as usual, it's absolutely abysmal.
Start of 7/27 Shift Goal: 13,000 words
Actual 7/27 Word Count: 2,798 words (10,203 word deficit)

    Seeking her Crown: Update 2.1/3

Quick head's up. While I've been moving ahead pretty well with getting a lot of the key story points written down, I've actually not managed to get the first chapter to a publishable point just yet. So, the hopeful early release this coming Saturday won't be happening. See y'all Monday night for the last pre-release update.

    Seeking her Crown: Update 2/3

    Good evening, fillies and gentlecolts!

Let's go ahead and get the shaming out of the way. Another week is down, and it's another week with massively sub-par returns on word count to report. Here's the numbers:
Start of 7/20 Shift Goal: 8,000 words
Actual Word Count: 2,192 words (5,808 word deficit)

New (Lunar) Year, New (Writing) Goals · 3:17pm Jan 27th, 2020

Good morning, fillies and gentlecolts!

So, as I am sure many of you are aware, it's been a while since I last published a new story. I'll be completely honest with you all. It's because I've just not bothered to write. But not anymore! I'm going to take my writing "career" by the reigns and get to work again. My job is such that I really don't really have to do much other than keep a seat warm, answer a few questions over the phone, and scan a few documents. I basically sit at work for about eight hours to do what really amounts to about an hour to an hour and a half of actual work. The rest of the time I usually spend either just browsing Facebook, watching youTube videos and anime, or reading other FimFics / assorted Light Novels.

As such, starting this week, I'm going to start a new "project". I'm going to endeavor to write an average of 100 words every hour of my shift at work. *For those that think that's foalish, it should be noted that the word count before the asterisk is 172 and only took about three minutes to reach. So, really, I'm not going to be taking up a lot of my nightly shift trying to make that goal. It's just about consistency and trying to keep a low number for the nights when the calls or paperwork get a bit bloated compared to average. With a minimum goal of 800 words a night, that would mean a new chapter of Per Speculum in Aenigmate (average chapter word count goal: 1100 words) written every shift and three hours, a new chapter of You Think You Know Somepony (average chapter word count goal: 4000 words) written every five shifts, a new "TV Special" length story (word count goal: 8500 words) written every ten shifts and five hours, or a new "Motion Picture" length story (word count goal: 19,000 words) written every twenty three shifts and six hours. I'll be bouncing between stories as my muse feels, so don't expect this to mean that I'm putting out a "schedule" for when new chapters will arrive, just setting goals and personal expectations.

Weekends that I'm not spending working overtime will be my main time I'll devote to polishing up my writings, as well as any extra time I have on shift where I've gone well over my quote for the day. I intend to start doing a weekly blog post every Monday detailing how my week went in terms of writing and editing, as well as taking the time to announce any upcoming story updates as they're readied. Hopefully, no promises mind you, I will get to a point in the near future (less than a month, maybe?) where I will have a bit of a buffer of writing done and I'll get the chance to be rolling with a steady release "schedule", even if it's rather scattered around with what gets updated when. Have no fear though, everypony! I have no intention of abandoning any of my works I've written so far. Tartarus or high water, I will ensure that every one of my projects have a [Complete] tag one of these days!

Thank you for your time, those few who may read this. I shall see you next Monday with a new update.
