Tittle: Bloody Bones and Lilac Smells (Ideas Based on Anime part 2.)

I was wondering if this was too hard of an idea for the Fimfiction crowd to swallow. And the fact that I made Folklore a Crystal Prep student that is a Delinquent with a heart of gold. https://www.fimfiction.net/blog/886394/idea-based-on-anime Among other things there is also the idea that it goes a completely different direction than other OC EQG stories, like my other stories the character is part of the world and of the rougher parts of it, he is an intellectual but he is scary and intimidating by his body language and appearance alone.

It also is not about hooking up with the Humane 7 as it is about convincing them that he is somewhat the good guy.

He isn't trying to cause damage to innocent people he is just trying to save his father after the police refused to help. The relationship with Fleur de LIs is a sort of a morality pet for him. She saves him, emotionally, and sometimes physically. Fleur in this story may look like the hottest girl in Crystal Prep, but she has a hidden sadist side, and has far above average strength due to a genetic defect that causes her body to produce massive amounts of adrenaline, as such when she tried having her first boyfriend Junior year he got too scared to even talk to her again after seeing what she could do.

Fleur hides her sadism and strength in Crystal Prep, but it eats her emotionally. Folklore only has mundane athletic strength but he is trained. Other than that he is quick to anger and would rather punch you than talk, so despite his temper and violent attitude he isn't known to yell. The thing is that both of them accept each others flaws. Fleur goes to see him because she thought that in a way she was like him, a misunderstood freak. They aren't the most merciful but they are generally trying to do their best.

Fleur is popular but is very emotionally suppressed. Her popularity, her reputation and status make her feel like she is in chains, wearing a mask with a smile hiding how much contempt she has for her classmates. She is an only child, and while not living alone it becomes rare when she can actually see her parents because they are big-time French Financial Experts that have some really powerful Billionaire Clients, and as such are almost never home because they are either working, or are forced to and convince their often stingy clients that they are investing their money well.

Folklore has a similar problem, his mother Gentile Eyes died to brain cancer and she much like his father are academics that specialize in ancient manuscripts. His father Compass Lore is a professor in Canterlot University now, seeing as Columbia University in New York fired him due to a disagreement and he did not have tenure and had to call in a few favors to get him the job in the West Coast, he did not spend much time at home either and became pretty distant of his son.

Both Fleur and Folklore are peculiar and ultimately lonely, starving a bit for genuine affection without any hypocrisy and lies.

I know that they seem to have first world problems as neither of them come from poor backgrounds. (Though while Fleur has multi-millionaire parents, Folklore is a bit more modest with his father being closer to Higher Middle-class as a PhD Professional, and he inherited his fathers intelligence so he got in Crystal Prep with grades and Acing several Entrance Exams, he is practically studying there for free, advanced classes that give him some credits in college too.)

Which is why I am ultimately writing about it out loud. Part Drama, part Dark Comedy, and part supernatural and highly violent action movie. I want to sort of make something that tricks an audience into thinking its that type of story and realize that it's deeper and more bizarre than that.

I want to make an EQG story about weirder subjects, and I wanted to shift the perception of Fleur de Lis from Trophy Wife or Hot Popular Girl, to being a combination of Saeko Busujima and Mitsuri Kanjori in that she has some dark parts to her personality that she keeps hidden, but had the outside appearance of an elegant and gentle lady with a kind disposition.

This teenage Folklore himself is tough, roguish, and violent. Appearing as an angry thug that is sent by Mobsters to beat the crap out of you until you pay them back the money you owe. But underneath that is a sad, lonely, and disappointed boy that while angry is far smarter than he looks, and is probably smarter than even most adults that surround him. Unfortunately that doesn't make him more mature than them, and his awareness of the lies that everyone tells to keep the wheels of civility turning, and the awareness of how rotten people really are fuels his negative disposition and propensity to lash out. He suffers because underneath that he cares, and in an environment less filed with evil he might be happier and more well adjusted. He can't stop helping, and he can't stop moping about how it doesn't improve anything.

Though I can accidentally create this and it would probably flop harder than a flounder on land.
