"Equestria Magick is leaking into the Equestria Girls Earth, and Earth's old Magical beings, and Magick is reawakening after nearly being completely wiped out at the end of World War II by the Allies after the Nazi's tried to weaponize it.

Meanwhile completely ignorant of all of this Arcanum Folklore now a senior in Crystal Prep, is the most feared delinquent in Canterlot City, the meanest and most brutal fighter in the streets, and the scariest looking student in Crystal Prep, this is all just outward appearance and prejudice though.

Arcanum Folklore is actually a New York Irish boy that was transferred to Crystal Prep from the NYC Charter High School for Architecture, Engineering & Construction Industries. He has a great interest in Chemistry and loves to read and workout, but he is a Hell's Kitchen Newyorker born and raised developing such habits as frequenting boxing gyms and comicbook shops, and refusing to put ketchup on anything that isn't a french fry or a burger, while also spending more time alone in the New York Public Library that it was expected for someone his age.

Due to his New York Native aggressive behavior, and his constant scowl and his refusal to wear a tie, close his uniform jacket and comb his hair in a more preppy fashion, he is seen as a delinquent by the opulent west coast Gated Community students of Crystal Prep, which try to use him as an escape goat for their own dirty deeds.

Having been accused of Drug Dealing and then found innocent, rape and then found innocent, and assault and battery which he has done but there isn't enough evidence to convict him of it, he as a result avoids and refuses to talk to any of the Crystal Prep students, only speaking to Dean Cadance and only because she insists. His reason for not being expelled is because he has the second highest grades in Crystal Prep which is unbeknownst to his fellow students, and he performs favors for Principal Cinch to remain in Crystal Prep and not invoke the wrath of his father Compass Lore.

One day after breaking the wrist of a fellow senior trying to drug a junior girl in the cafeteria, he mopes in the school library as he often does after incidents like that. He is visited by another senior Fleur de Lis, and after breaking through his shell she realizes that he is just a nerd with the appearance of a slightly handsome thug.

A weak later they start going out and in the Chinese restaurant they went to on their first date they find a strange red ruby than grants them weird magical abilities.

The day after that Folklore's father Compass Lore had been kidnapped and both him and Fleur de Lis must now go on the hunt for him. Through alleys, basements, going through thugs like a hot knife through butter, and eventually getting into conflict with the insidious Cult of Cthulhu."

I this you might think Fleur more girly and submissive but she is actually pretty dangerous. Also this version of Folklore being a mix between https://yuyuhakusho.fandom.com/wiki/Yusuke_Urameshi and https://dorohedoro.fandom.com/wiki/Kaiman is more immature than his usual depictions, specially being only 17.

Folklore's and Fleur de Lis's relationship does not exclude her form violence and their relationship is somewhat similar to this.

My version of Fleur de Lis would have her doing things you would expect from Spider-Man or Shizuo.
