Ending one decade and starting another. · 1:38am Jan 1st, 2020
So in four and a half hours from now where I live 2019 will end and 2020 will begin. I don't think this is said often enough but we don't really think about all that has happened over the course of the past ten years until someone reminds us of certain events like Trump getting elected or said president getting impeached, with that said 2010-2019 has been a bit of a roller-coaster for everyone here and out there. We've seen our fair share of celebrity scandals, marriages and divorces. A sixteen year old activist showing her generation that she has the resolve to challenge the system. The historical Notre Damn cathedral in France caught on fire and may never be fully rebuilt. But most of all the people here has changed, we've become older and wiser when it comes to writing, we've lost fellow authors and gained new ones, long running stories finished and new ones began.
In the end change happens, it may be slow, it may be fast, but it will always happen. So why not embrace it and roll with the punches? After all we have a short time on earth so might as well live like it is your last day. Happy new year to everyone here and out there.
