This was a bad year.
This was a very bad year for me.
Things happened, and over the past month I've been fixing my house again, turns out that a pipe broke from the hot water heater, pinhole leak, and everything in the crawl space is gone, the flooring had to be replaced, and there was mold. Insurance doesn't pay for mold repair.
Protip for anybody reading this, buy a "water alarm" for your basement they cost like 12$, wrap the sensor in a paper towel(just one), and like tie it on there to increase the sensitivity, and maybe even think about buying a cheap wifi security camera for your crawl space(you can get them for like 30$ on Amazeon). This whole ordeal for me has been an absolute nightmare, financially, emotionally, it's hell. I'm only going to be moving back into my house again this week.
Last thing, I will not get a patreon or simlar, I'm not that popular and I don't think what I'm writing now will make me popular. Basically the next story that is going to come out will be going off the deep end, off another deep end farther than that, and into completely uncharted territory off the continental shelf. Part of the reason I wrote "Who Needs the Sunshine" and the main reason I wrote "The Last Changeling Queen" is to build up to introducing my own fictional universe and start playing around with that in the context of MLP, just have them rub together and see what sparks. The thing is that my own fictional universe is crazy, I tell people I know about it and they look at me funny. I can say with absolute certainty that there has never been anything like it ever. Twilight is basically a way to introduce you to this fictional universe from the same outsider perspective that you have, and it's going to be strange, the entire point of it is to basically move away from anything previously established.
I don't think I've written a more worrying paragraph than that last one in relation to my writing.
Anyways my house is no longer in danger of collapsing, new flooring should be in soon, and... well hopefully I'll have something to show you guys in terms of the new story in January.
