    Lordy, how time flies!

It has reached the real life date during which the beginning of MLP EG Forever takes place. It seems like not that long ago I started writing it, thinking this timeline was a long way off, yet here we are.

Just a quick one today—about music, of course. I came home early from work, feeling a bit under the weather, so I have to some time to give a little tribute to Randy Rhoads, since today is his birthday.

For those who don’t know, Randy was Ozzy Osbourne’s guitarist for his first two solo albums, Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman. This guy was, of course, an amazing classically-trained guitarist and composer, responsible for tracks like Crazy Train, which I’m sure everyone here has heard—you’d have to be living under a rock to not have heard that one.

He died, unfortunately, in a small plane crash at only 25 years old, leaving behind a legacy that influences up-and-coming and even veteran musicians to this day.

I wish I had the energy to talk in more detail about Randy than this, but I’m really not feeling well today. Still, I wanted to, at the very least, give the man a shout-out on what would have been his 63rd birthday. Please take some time to enjoy his work.

PS. I hope everyone’s enjoying the story; new chapter coming hopefully within a week.

It's a challenge to play the solo to crazy train lol

Have you ever listened to Nick Johnston? That's also some great stuff imo.

I’ve heard a couple of his works, but haven’t had time to dive deeper. I should though, the guy has a great sound from what I heard so far!
