The Story Thus Far · 3:18am Dec 6th, 2019

Well, this is different.

I've never really written a blog about anything, so I'm just kinda making things up with this as I go, but I felt that it would be necessary to talk about my story, perhaps eventual stories that I create.

I'm not a fast writer. At all. The two chapters and the interlude I posted a month ago? It took a week each to write both the first chapter and the interlude, and nearly three months to write the second chapter, the monster that it is. I'm busy with college, with my job, and a few D&D groups, so I set a goal to write at least a sentence a night. I don't reach that goal every night.

Another thing is how I write stories. For The Sun Never Sets on Equestria, and most stories that I write, I always try to think of the ending first. Case in point, I already know how the ending for this fic will be. The issue for me is actually getting to the ending, which is still quite a ways off. Oh well, I'll hopefully get to it eventually. Maybe I'll even still have readers at that point!

So... yeah. I'm plugging away at Chapter 3, and I already have an idea of what Chapter 4 will be about, but it might take some time before I reach there. In the meantime, I'll (hopefully) be putting up some Author's Notes about some things that might've gone over some people's heads, like the names of some places that were used in the alias of Sunset and Charles. Other than that, hopefully I'll have something up in the next month, with winter break coming and all that.

Happy trails!
