Ok, so I bought an amplifier not so long ago from a recycling sight not far from me. It was in rough condition, an old Fender PR 498, a Front man Series 25R. Not too long ago, I fixed it, now it's working brilliantly!

I had to take out the broken pot on the reverb control, as it's the main point of a 25R. I soldered in a new one tonight and I replaced all of the tone knobs. I cleaned it quite a bit, too, but I can't do anything about the tears on the leather finish.

Best part? I can apparently sell it for quite a bit, but... I may just keep it. I've grown to like it so. Welcome to the family, baby. Alas, I might try flogging it one day, but it's going to be my home practice amp for the time being.

I did something right for once in my life! Usually the stuff I try and fix breaks! I feel like a true man for the very first time!

I might make this a new thing on the side while I'm at it...
