    Not Gone, Just Busy

Yo, my several month update returns, once again typed at the dead of night where I live, cause of course it is. I recently posted a new fic but looking at old ones, and old blog posts had me realize. Maybe I should finish rewriting some of these. So. That is what I'm announcing here. The formal rewrite of "Funeral Of The Magic" is going to be started pretty soon, as I take notes from the

    Old Face, New Fanfiction

Do I really need to do the "OOPS I FORGOT MY OWN PONY FANFIC PAGE STILL EXISTS" meme this time? Yes.

So It's been about. 2 dang years? Yeah, remember when I said I was gonna rewrite things and then didn't? Again? Do not follow my example y'all. :facehoof:

    Ambitious Rewrites? Maybe.

So. I'm always bouncing back around to being here after all this time. And I want to do something daring :rainbowdetermined2:. Brave :rainbowderp:. A little ambitious :rainbowhuh:, if you will. Yes I unironically love the emojis on here sue me. I plan to rewrite/revise my old works. A lot of them struggle from poor pacing, tense shifting, and inconsistent internal logic. For this blog

    Oh. Hi.

I am well aware I appear and vanish like the Blair Witch at least once a year but yeah that's just because my pony fascination comes and goes like airplanes at a terminal. Anyway, might do some writing even though I don't promise I'll make anything new. I have a few characters I haven't used in a hot while and could definitely provide some... flavor. Spice, perhaps. Sizzle, if you will. Taste, if

So like just about everyone else. I saw the final episode of Gen 4, but only just today. I had no idea what I was getting into, because I hadn't watched a single episode of Season 9 aside from it's premier. That being said, I felt some...strong feelings about the finale. The many implications of the finale took me by a harsh surprise. From who's here and who has passed. To the children of some characters. To the very subtle implication that Appledash became canon. It was a bit heartwrenching to see it go. But at the same time. I don't mind it. I lost a lot of my interest in the series and the ending was merely a jolt of emotions as my mind jumped to highlights of the series for me as a fan. It was a blend of a sweet release before the series could be more stilted by the change in writers way back, but a sorrowful goodbye to a show that once gave me a smile and inspiration to do great things. In a way, the end has just caused a sharp push into the future. This series was a goldmine, a bright beacon of light in my dark ages. I remember watching old episodes while home from class after my wisdom teeth were pulled. I remember drawing fanart and writing my first fanfic, simply by editing an RP. I remember smiling, laughing, and crying at various moments. I liked Equestria Girls, for as chaotic as they ended up being. And now the series that gave me joy, is officially over. Sort of, the IDW comics will continue the story of my favorite cast of characters. Maybe I'll read them, who knows. But as it stands, I'm not sure what I can do now. It feels like there is no more loose ends to play with in Fanfiction. I guess, I'll find out someday. Thanks for reading!
