Hey hey people , Dino here . Wait , where is that intro from again ? Meh who cares , y'all are here to listen to me rambling about the end of the series , aren't you ? Well good for you , I will do exactly that !
So , no I won't review the finale episodes , if you want that , go read my long-ass review on JDPrime's one . I'll talk of everything else in this review .
I suck at staring things so let's get straight to the point , I joined this fandom pretty early when I think about it , early 2012 I think ? And the funniest thing in all of that is that the way I got to know about this series was by misstyping the channel number on my TV , mistakes change people , eh ? And when I think about it , I don't even know what I found great about MLP when I started watching it , some (and by that I mean absolutely no one) say it's destiny that got me there and they probably are right , Thanos would be proud !
But appart from that , the thing that Really got me going was the site called MLP France , if the name didn't quite tell you yet , it's a site where you can watch all the episodes , comics etc in French and English , I was already bilingual when I started watching episodes on that site , but the English dubs really helped getting better at it . If I have to thank some people in this fandom , this would probably be them since I would probably not have watched even half the series without them by now .
And then I found FimFiction ! The site we all love ! I had a small part of my life where I kind f let down MLP a bit but when I found FimFiction , it got me back going instantly ! Even more so than the new season (It was the premier of season 6 at this point) . And if I need to congratulate one Fic Writer for making great things that kept me loving MLP even more so than the show itself , I would totally say that it's JDPrime22 , seriously , this guy's stories are absolutely GREAT and deserve way more praise !
Then I found Need For Ponies , while it didn't mark me THAT much , it totally replaced MLP France which (no offense) was getting old and not updated enough at the time (now it's up to date again) .
After this , while I didn't find anything that marked me a lot , I would say that Deviant Art and Reddit (oh no , I need to make my ending speech there too ...) also helped me get back in the Fandom a lot and I thank them for that !
But the finale thing that is worth noting is the site in which I watched the ending : BronyTV , I never went to it before and I didn't know it existed before either but I thank them since I managed to watch the finale and some of the marathon in it and the community there is great too !
Overall (gosh I am gonna miss saying that...) I am really glad I could watch this with you all and without you , I probably would be a totally different person , probably for the worst honestly ! The end of the series will definitely leave a hole in me but hey , the end of something is always the start of another , uh ? Has they say:
"Don't be sad because it's finished , be happy because it happened!"
