Weekly Update · 6:57am Sep 10th, 2019
I know this is slightly earlier than my usual updates.
So the story is going along well (a few scenes, about 2500 words into the next chapter) so don't worry, if I say "I've spent way too much time on this story, I won't stop now" I mean it. Updates will happen. It's just that in between feeling of my mind coming up with all the cool scenes in my head and getting almost overhyped on the cool stuff technically entire thousands or tens of thousands of words away. Usually when that happens, I seem to get distracted- I know I try to limit distractions, but I am only human- so I'm just going to take a brief break writing this story like I did a few months ago and write something different.
And no, I am not writing a sequel to that TwiLuna story yet (due to every idea for a sequel turning into the length of Wearing the Inside Out with all the complexity and time constraints that causes me.)
So next best thing, I'm writing that Coloratura x Applejack fic. (And no, unlike last time, I am not going to take nearly 3 months in between this big story and that. One chapter at a time, released every once in a while when I feel like it. So when this story releases, don't expect 3 chapters and 21k words like last time. That was primarily a bad winter, tons of free time, and, honestly, a mix between inspiration and boredom.
So I'll be working on that story's first chapter this month most likely. Already 1500 words in with less than three or so hours of actual work so it's coming along well.
I do try to keep around a four to five week turn around on chapters due to better time management.
Too many ideas, too little time I guess.
Plus I don't want to compleltely burn myself out with just focusing on one story until it is done. Brief breaks in between to liven up things keeps me interested.
