DnD 5e Cat Race? Your Thoughts?

This was originally posted in the Purrverse group, a group about cat ponies. I'm not sure why they have it as "NSFW", it's just a group about cats/ponies.

Now I know this isn't quite MLP related, but it is cat related and it could be potentially used for a cat pony themed DnD 5e game, so I thought I would present this cat race I've been working on and ask for your thoughts.

My thoughts on the setting is that cats have secretly been protecting humanoids for millennia from creatures and threats we were unaware of. They have secret societies and a hidden culture of their own.

Cat

• - Your size is tiny.
• - +2 to Dex.
• - +1 to an ability of choice, except for Dex.
• - Keen Smell: You have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) involving smell.
• - Ancestral Link: Cat’s don’t technically have nine lives, but they can access some of the memories provided by their ancestors. You gain proficiency in 1 skill of your choice, once per long rest you may give yourself advantage on that skill.
• - No Thumbs: You have paws, what do you expect? You can't use normal weapons like what humanoids use, due to your lack of actual hands. You can however hold one item in your mouth. You can also use special weapons created by your kind that attach to your claws, under your forepaws, mouth or tail.
• - Small Frame: You can't wear normal armor unless it is made for your specifically.
• - Speed: 40ft walking and 30ft climbing.
• - Darkvision: 60ft.
• - Natural weapons: Claws: 2 Slashing Damage (finesse). Bite: 1 Piercing Damage.
• - Landing on All Fours: You have advantage on Dex saves when falling.
• - Languages: You understand Common, Felinar (Cat) and 1 language of your choice (including other animal languages). While you can understand the languages of other humanoid races (the ones you know) you can't speak them, unless by magic. You can speak Felinar and other animal languages you know.

I am also working on some feline racial feats as well as a list of equipment for cats.

Perhaps, they also have a sneak/theif boost if they rouges?

5117979 Well, the +2 to Dex and Ancestral Link (if chosen for stealth or sleight of hand) could definitely make them great for Rogues. However, I am also working on some Racial Feats too, so it is possible that one of those feats could aid a Rogue Cat as well.
