Belated "Show is Ending" lamentations, and a bit more fanart. · 7:40pm Sep 1st, 2019
As much as I'd like to keep that "OFFLINE last Seen December 2017" thing going on my profile, I know I'm gonna end up here again, especially with apparently the series ending, even if I happen to know it very, very late.
So I tried to catch up, both watching and reading. Thus I saw Wallflower Blush (and those dark fics that hit a bit too close to home with some people), I saw Timber and Twilight again (and those beautiful fanarts from that storyboard artist), I saw 2 seasons of shorts and those choose-your-own-endings (What a simple,fun format that helps make the girls more fleshed out, akin to a prompt), I saw Post-Crush (and how that artschool reject joke made me lost it, and Dazzlings keep being ambivalent are nice), in short I catch up with a lot of things, and read alot of stories in secret, downloading them as epubs to be read offline.
I guess It just makes me sad that the series that helps me to ease drawing digitally are cancelled with the main show ending. We never even saw the girls graduate! I guess, there's an good side to that, because if you squint really hard, you can just make it as if the life on CHS never ended :) ..which is kinda scary for them, I mean, with how they still got short about mixed up schedule, does that mean they are still having an extra year?
Nevertheless, I'm going to make final tributes to some of my favorite fics in commemoration of this journey. Fics that really tug my heart, or resonates with me. Mostly from those that have been in contact with me almost 2 years ago. Thanks for everything, EqG fandom. And I guess, you pony people too.

Hey man! Good to see you too. Also, you're a freakin maniac. I just read It's The End of The World as We Know It a month ago and I'm just shocked at how angsty it makes me feel. It's a carcrash of emotions and memories of highschool life and rumors I thought I've forgotten. I'm floored with those pieces you adapted from my drawings. Thanks a lot and sorry for not reading it back when it counts. Expect a fanart for it soon. It's the least I can do.
