Moon Eyed is now a Series

While my last blog entry I just did not too long ago focused on a lot of negative things, I wanted to focus on some more positive things. My Story "Moon Eyed" was just supposed to be the name of Hex's intro story. Instead it's not blossoming into a full series that I intend to write out. I'll fully admit that I was inspired when I saw the FimFiction booth at Bronycon. I had no idea that fanfics

Characters in Moon Eyed: Waxing Gibbous

There are quite a lot of new character being introduced for this story, so I figured alongside posting them in the Author's notes, I'll post them all here! My roommate is helping me with drawing all of them out, minus some of their clothing details. But I can always write that out under their pictures. Obviously I wont spoil anything that hasn't been written/posted yet. So expect this page to be

    When stories re-write themselves

So I WAS going to write Hex's first relationship into it's own story, but now it seems like it's gonna be included in the second half of Moon Eyed. So this story is going to be double the length of the first one. lolwhoops

    Two Moons

After much thought and consideration, I've decided that Moon Eyed will actually be in two parts/stories/books. The first half is almost done and actually only has one more chapter to go. The reason for the name of the story is about to be very evident. But I've rated it E for everyone and want people who aren't interested in reading T for Teen and higher rated stories to be able to enjoy it as a

Hurricane Dorian · 1:28am Sep 1st, 2019

Hello friends!
Mostly just making a quick blog post to let you all know why I've disappeared a bit from this account for the past week or so. It's partially been because of a lot of stress pertaining to some doctor-related things and my concussion I got almost two months ago at work. Concussions suck and I've been having symptoms ever since. Apparently they can take anywhere from 3 months to a full year to heal and I've been dealing with the doctors from my workplace as well as my primary care doctor whom apparently has completely billed me wrong and... well, it's been stressful.

On top of that, Hurricane Dorian has been royally messing with us. First it was said that it would be a category 3 that would possibly hit us in Orlando either that hard, or somehow die down to a Cat. 1 by the time it hit us. Then it got upgraded to a Cat. 4. Then a Cat. 5. Now it's possibly just going to turn and graze Florida as the Cat. 4 but head up to nail the Carolina's. Either way, it's been terrifying. The roomie and I live in a Mobile home, and since we had been working, we missed some of the announcements and wound up getting to water and gas a bit on the late side. I managed to fully fill my tank up, but the roomie is only 3 quarters of a tank because most of the gas stations in our area have completely run out of gas at this point. When we got the roomie's gas, all the Wawa had left was the premium gas, which we got as much of as we could. But it was really expensive. Water we managed a little better on. We bought two 24 packs of water bottles and managed to fill up a bunch of the other bottles we had at home using two gallon water bottles we filled up at Publix. So we should be okay on that front. Food-wise, I've got some frozen meat and we have a TON of ramen, so I think we're good.

The main worry is if we lose power, really. The meat I have in the freezer is no big deal because we have a grill. So we'll just have to cook it up and eat as much of it as we possibly can in one go and then use water bottles we plan on freezing to keep the left overs cold as long as we can. Losing power really only concerns me because we have Duke Energy and honestly it's the worst energy company I've ever dealt with. When we lost power because of Irma, I think it was out for 6 days. Yeah, I know other people have had things WAY worse in Hurricanes. But it still sucks in the moment.

Flooding might also be a worry. Our backyard is quite literally a swamp, and when Irma hit, it actually flooded up so high that we had to put garbage bags on our legs and wade through the water to get out of the house. Luckily it didn't come INTO the house. Just.. basically right up to the elevated door. Honestly I got lucky that my car managed to work, because the water was all the way up and over the exhaust pipe. We plan on parking my car in a parking garage the night before the storm so it's safe and doesn't flood inside again. (My windshield is horrible and actually leaks really bad in the rain.)

So basically, what all of this means is: I'll try to keep you all updated, but if I go missing for a few days starting Monday, that's why. There's a possibility I lost power. If everything's fine, then I should be able to get back to writing shortly after the storm.

In better news, I'll be missing the week of September 8th-14th. I've got a friend coming to visit me and I'll be getting her into Disney so she can experience it for the first time ever.

I'll see you all around. I hope any of the rest of you that live here in Florida or live in any of the states that might/will be affected by the Hurricane stay safe!

I don't know if this will help any but Jacksonville still has gas

Unfortunately that doesn't help at all. I'm in Orlando. The trip to Jacksonville would waste more gas than it would actually help.
