After much thought and consideration, I've decided that Moon Eyed will actually be in two parts/stories/books. The first half is almost done and actually only has one more chapter to go. The reason for the name of the story is about to be very evident. But I've rated it E for everyone and want people who aren't interested in reading T for Teen and higher rated stories to be able to enjoy it as a stand-alone short story.
Therefore, once chapter 4 is finished, it will split off into a second story. The first half is focusing on Hex Breaker as a little one, and the second half is him quite a few years later, more or less as an adult, and will feature some scarier, more adult themes.
I'm hoping to get both the fourth chapter and the first chapter of the next half up on Thursday, which is my only day off this week. I'm also going to hope to get a one-shot out there, but we'll see how much time I have and what happens. Obviously if it's a new story, it's going to take a day or two to get approved and put out there to the public, but I feel like it's worth it in the long run.
Also, how do you guys feel about mid-quals? There's a story I want to write about Hex's first romance, but it happens kinda in the middle of the story and I don't want it de-railing the storyline for Moon-Eyed. (I mean, I'm going to write it anyway, but I'd still like your feedback.)
Thanks for reading, everypony!
