Lop definitely sells the 'alien' vibe to Cosmos. You don't see a lot of designs in animation anymore with THAT kind of twisted body and messed up face.

The film grain was a brilliant touch, and Pandora's chubby, dopey-eyed, droopy elf-ear design alongside Cosmos really sold the piece as a late 80s/early 90s VHS film.

Well she is pretty opinionated about Starlight, isn't she. Starlight isn't being manipulative when she shrugs off having been a villain, that is literally just the theme of the show. There is literally a former villain terrorist on the throne for most of the series and nobody cares!

I get really annoyed with people who try to force a more serious tone onto the show than what it is clearly showing. There is reading between the lines, like Trixie's stunt with the manticore being an allegory for suicide, and then there's headcanon.
