    Some major personal updates

I'll get right to the point: I got a new job! :pinkiehappy:

While I enjoyed my previous work, it was mostly thoughtless data entry and wasn't even close to full-time. I have clawed my way out of the welfare trap.

Progress Report #2, and a Question

Question first: Does anybody know what happened to Swift Blade Productions? I could've sworn when I trailed off that they were a rising audio reading channel. Now I can't even find them on YouTube. :rainbowderp:

    Merry Christmas and Happy Holliday

I wish there was more I could say that I haven't said fifty times previously. I miss this place and wish I could be back to work on here. I hope you're all well.

    Howdy, all!

I'm curious if anyone has plans for this Hallow's Eve. I don't have much worked out for it yet myself.

Howdy!

Last Sunday, I went to Lakemont Park with my buddy Blake from the university (the guy who founded the RMU Amusement Park Club). It was nice to see him again, although Lakemont Park is much less than it used to be, in terms of rides and waterworks. It was nice to see him, though.

I've been helping around the house lately since Grandpa got his hernia operated on. It was a success, but he became incontinent, so he had to be catheterized. He's overcome a urinary tract infection and is scheduled to have the catheter removed Tuesday.

I started preparing for my next actuarial exam, LTAM, on the 19th. I'm reviewing material and picking up stuff I wasn't exposed to before, before I start attempting practice exams with my software.

I managed to schedule a meetup at my local library with my friend and his brother who were willing to play Root with me. I got the games and we played. It was nice, but we were hungry for more. Monday is when we would've played, but my friend's siblings got injured in a car collision, so that's off the table for a while. :twilightoops:

Once Grandpa's okay, I have an item I'm going to look over that was proposed to me at BronyCon by someone I met there. Might be another voice opportunity. Additionally, another friend from the university contacted me yesterday to ask me to do some narration for him. He's recording a song that's going to use my narration for a strange story he wrote when he was five years old. I guess that's indie music for you.

All in all, though, the day-to-day has been pretty bland. Not much else to report. Been busy, but it fails to keep my mind off wondering whether I passed IFM in July. I really hope I did, but I really apprehend I didn't. :applejackunsure: With actuarial hiring season coming up, I would like to have something to show for my time spent since graduation besides my mother's ashes. :facehoof:
