Pinkie... teaching physics... OH CELESTIA NO! · 12:27am Nov 12th, 2012
Hello everypony that cares a tad about me!
One day (today) whilst browsing the fair works of our community (the Featured Box), I came across a fic, called Pinkie Teaches Physics and Stuff Happens by Yuki Harima. I'm sure you've seen the work. Well, it was rather interesting to read. Aside from the fact that I inwardly cringed multiple times at the author's disregard for both physical laws (though in a purely comedic sense) and apparent lack of fluency with grammar, it was nevertheless an intriguing read.
Anyways. Now, onto the subject of my writings:
I am writing the second chapter to Colorless, but it may still take some time. In the second chapter, I'm aiming to expand on Twilight's insanity, and her insanity's ramifications for Equestria, the mysterious World Beyond Tartartus' Gates (The Fields of Asphodel), and Chysalis' motivation for the Invasion. Also, I might do something with the TwiDash I alluded to, but I'm planning to make it live up to its tags. <-- interpret that statement however you want; I neither will confirm nor deny any said interpretation. The third chapter will be a denouement with a final twist. That's all on that front, and I wrote that because I will finish the second chapter in the next few weeks.
But. The reason I'm taking so long is that I'm trying to write numerous projects at the same time: A Fire Emblem/MLP crossover (only on my dA because it's not very good as of yet... also, I believe that it is THE first FE/MLP crossover... does anyone have any data to invalidate my potential claim-to-fame?); and perhaps my most ambitious project yet: A series, originally non-MLP-based, but that will include a crossover in the second installment, dealing with the ramifications of a goddess (or merely a powerful being tasked with simply sitting in a cell atop a spire in an environment very similar to the poem my username is based upon) going mad, and her subsequent Disassociative-Identity-Disorder-esque... shenanigans. Anyways. Also, I'm working on a poetry anthology and stuff.
Hope that allayed any suspicions that I've been slacking (not that I've received any accusations, of course), and my editing projects are proceeding per schedule.
THE main reason I wanted to write this, however, is that I recently discovered a really excellent member of our community. Much like Reasonandrhyme, Cerulean Starlight, and Athanix, who I might consider to be both major influences on my writing and role models (perhaps peers, if I might be so bold), Amethyst Hope, who, although I just recently met her, has already had such a positive influence on me that... well... you'll see... eventually...
Anyways. Just wanted to pay due tribute to a wonderful friend (if I may call her that) as well as all my other sources of inspiration and drive (also, include Honored Service on that list; his works are damn funny).
