    incredibly sick

haven't been able to hit the computer much the past month. Got sick on labor day weekend, ended up with a bad case of pneumonia deep in my lungs. Despite it, I've been forcing myself to go to work overtime because... well, bills need to be paid.

I haven't disappeared, but I'm healing. be back soon, promise.

    Child rearing is oftentimes unpredictable.

TLA has only been delayed as I cannot access my files from where I am or when I'm home because of small children. Not mine, yet I suppose, but the little ones take a lot of time and attention and love. And food. So much food. My nieces are garbage disposals.

That was an Adventure through the Comics. TLA incoming.

Hey folks, just finished up a grand majority of the comics, and there was only one big plot point that rubbed up super hard against the story, so once I swap it out it'll be fine. I'll even drop off exactly what it was in the authors notes when it comes up and is no longer relavant to keep from you. Lucky me the plot didn't hinge on it(anymore- it was something important before but I minimized it

    Dude, where's my blogpost?

I made a blogpost on Friday talking about delaying the chapter a week while I catch up on pony lore in the comics, mainly because there's three things I want to do and I straight up don't want to do something that clashes entirely with what's going on with the characters.

Are there some old Ponyfic concepts that could be better now that the fandom has died down? · 2:12am Jul 9th, 2019

Been thinking about the old crazes of the old brony fandom - Fallout Equestria, Behind-The-Scenes(fics that would provide perspective of ponies who are off-camera during episodes), and The Conversion Bureau. For those not in the know, The Conversion Bureau(TCB) was originally a hackneyed concept full of wish fulfillment of the Ponies and Equestria barging into our world by some means and basically offering to turn people into ponies, and... yeah. Now, many good authors and also myself did fics surrounding a... deconstruction of the concept, usually looking into the worst types of fallout such a world-shattering invasion with mixed results.

But I wonder, now that there isn't a rabid fanbase ready to tear into every concept and things have settled down, I was thinking about returning to some of the old concepts and having some fun with them.

I couldn't do any worse than Disney, really.

I dunno about that, but I do find myself nostalgic for things like Twilight Fucks Up a Spell anymore. XD

Sometimes I wonder if I can get away with writing a fic about Nyx.

"Actually, no, I don't think I can," I then say to myself.

I mean, I think I have a decent idea for a story, but knowing it's predestined to get hated on regardless kinda snuffs out any fun I could have writing it, you know what I mean?

Eh. Twilight messes up a spell was such a lazy excuse... mostly because a) Twilight never messes up spells, and b) if she had, it was barely acknowledged as an exception in those stories, rather than a rule, which either indicates that the authors that used it had no clue about the character, or just didn't care.

The draw has always been that it's a great jumping-off point for literally any kind of shenanigans, because magic can do anything. Yes, you have to ignore her character. But now we have other characters who can mess up spells: Rarity, Starlight (especially Starlight!), Trixie, maybe even Sunset Shimmer or Tempest.

Bring back spell mess-ups! >:V

She does when she means to!

Push them all together. TCB inspires Starlight, tries to simplify the process, Starlight fucks up the spell, creating a Nuclear wasteland and Luna's been ripped asunder by the blast and creates her Post-Nightmare form and Nyx form. Woona's Fallout Bureau.
