Does anypony know what a roleplay warning is? I just got one...

And I don't understand why I did! I'm Pinkie Pie, aren't I? I'm not somepony else?

Roleplaying is when you create a scenario where you're acting out as if you and the participants are characters, in this case, characters from MLP. The mods are strictly against it, for what reason I don't know, and I've seen at least one person get banned for it.

It's a shame, really, for I liked interacting with you as if you're Pinkie. But for your sake, I think it's time to stop.

Can you copy and paste the warning? I'd be interested to see what it said.

In light of various performance issues with the site, I've been looking at the sort of thing that's been causing it and by looking through slow queries I've discovered that the vast majority of the issues are caused by maybe 10 users, all of which is role playing.

Consequently, I am banning role playing from the site in all locations. User pages, blog posts, groups, consider it banned everywhere now. It does not contribute to the site in any way other that destroying the servers.

So there's your explanation. Hope it helped.
