Story-Writing and The Methods I Take To NOT Forgot What I'm Writing on a day-to-day basis · 11:27pm May 27th, 2019
Some of the stories I write on and go back to writing after months maybe nearly seasons of a year on just writing a single chapter or even a fraction of a chapter for one of my stories. This usually ends up with me "winging" through a lot of the chapters I left incomplete, so sometimes I forgot the direction of where I had planned for these chapters. Originally my older stories had a given direction and I knew exactly what to write on each chapter and what the characters do in each chapter; many of my newer chapters from all the way at 2017 to now are mostly experimental so I have no idea what myself from a month ago had planned for these stories.
I decided to remedy this by writing a summary chart for my recent stories... this however means I have to rewrite these stories - not all of it - specifically the parts I had planned originally, so this may caused certain characters to be cut and some stories to change from rated T to M due to the sudden change in the stories.
As a heads up, the stories I'm going to heavily change are these that are listed below:
I Am (No) God - from newer chapters and only the main story, the pre-quel story is being left alone for now
Knight of the Void - due to a lot happening on this site from the groups I've been a part of and the authors that I wanted to crossover inactive or due to me being behind on this story, I will have to make a heavy decision about this story as a whole
The Four Conquerors - no new changes, but need something to remind me what needs to be written on each chapter as a good foundation
A Soldier's Orders - I do plan making a new arc for this story but entirely either retcon or changing previous chapters entirely
We Are Sinners - coming back to that some time later
The Father of Sin - this story was made to satiate my urge for creativity so I made this one on a whim, I will continue it but I have no idea where I'm going with this story at all
As for my other stories - both the ones on hiatus and even the ones still on the planning block - they will have to be re-imagined up for later. I'll be left with not a lot for the following month and next month but I will have other things coming up later.
This is your latest report on my current whereabouts, and thank you for reading; have a grand day!
