First of the Month... (At Night?!) · 2:59am May 2nd, 2019
Hello, there everyone; it's me, Fireflower with even another new announcement, this time at night for those who didn't read the title: for those who had been staying with me, I'd recently not only finished Alumni After All, there have also been seven new stories I've managed to publish earlier today, or rather late last night. Now that I've been able to pace myself and get focused in onto making some new stories within this year, this post should serve as an update to tell you what I'm behind on and how far I've came: since that I'm here and the fifth anniversary is coming up, let's begin; besides, I still have so much more to write down on the screen.
First off, I'd been able to work on finishing the story in its entirety, to the point of introducing a new character late into itself: I know for a fact Flash Sentry is, for the lack of a better term, a Base Breaking Character and with good reason, besides the shipping and the like; of course, this knowledge beforehand was the reason he wasn't featured into the story prior, especially considering the reputation of its predecessors including, most egregiously, Ocular Spectral Therapy. Speaking of which, I was able to anticipate the backlash that would ensue regarding the main protagonist Applejack, seeing that she comes from a show with feminist, or rather feminine, leading ideals are promoted for the sake of the story and its characters, something you don't see in this later decade's part of media history; that being said, I didn't let it get me down because I was sure that by finishing the story, I'd be able to earn others' respect afterwards.
More on what the future will bring in my announcement since I'm going to keep on writing: while getting dislikes are nothing new since I'd signed on and wrote Making It Rain, the fact I was willing to tackle a certain scenario had caught me off–guard by virtue of its content; as a matter of fact, it'd caused me to lose sleep at first for in fear of giving me nightmares, which had came to me eventually since the day before New Year's Eve 2014. Following this, I'd been contacted days later by another damaged soul by the name of Dark Colt Sabata, another writer just like myself whom was affected by the alternative universe sub-genre: together, we'd both collaborated to write Parasite Adam, a crossover with Parasite Eve to give a happily ever after to the very characters trapped in a dark and tragical farce of their once proud heritage and homeland; of course, being that it was the first time ever, I'd realized mistakes have been make and must be atoned for, hence the rewrite I've promised to undertake.
Lastly, it has come to my attention that we have presumably entered May and the fact that I'm still not done writing as of yet and with good reason: my beginnings took place a decade ago when I had begun high school, though it was only long before that decade had ended, something I was fearful and tearful to see it go; the fact I had been bullied years prior since the middle of the decade did me no favors. Still, I have a long confession that needs to be said within the following month of June: consider the previous sentence a preview of the things to come, especially since I have some things that needed to be written so long ago; after all, there's nothing I hate more than having to let all that potential be wasted and squandered doing nothing whatsoever, especially since there are so many questions and answers still out there.
Goodnight and I do hope we get to meet again on the morrow: this is Fireflower signing off for now.
