me checking the dislike ratio on my new story

Glad to know bigotry is still alive and well in this fandom.

It's glad to see some of us didn't watch the same series as I did.

    So where I've been

Okay, uh... how do I begin this? Well, I suppose I should start with the obvious. Yes, I've been distracted. If you follow me on Archive that should be obvious. And if you don't, you totally should btw. Yes, I'm shameless.

Been a hell of a ride, honestly. I just apologize for dragging it on for so long.

Longue vie à Notre Dame!

Exactly. It's just bricks and mortar in the end. And I know from a BBC report some statues were moved a week before this meaning not all of the artifacts are lost. Things can be rebuilt, and art replicated with modern techniques.

And if you remember history, this is the second time Notre Dame burned. The first was 200 years ago. So, yes... Longue vie à Notre Dame!

Yes. Yes. Yet this fire seems to be more devastating than the one 200 years ago. Plus you must remember that Notre Dame is close to 900 years old. Trying to bring more modernization to such an ancient building can cause backfires.

Yes, but it might be the only thing to do in this situation. What would you do, leave Notre Dame looking destroyed, or at least attempt to restore it and bring some happiness to those who remembered it, or those who never got a chance to see it looking grand?

Hmmm...true. It is best to rebuild again. However with some more....fireproof necessities.

Seeing this on fire just made my day sad. I hope this was accidental and not intentional.
