today marks the second day of the voyage that lead up to the sinking of Royal Mail Steamer Titanic, on this day she arrives in cherborg France, on her way to new York, now up til now she is only three days away from her faithful encounter with an iceberg in the north Atlantic ocean, and this year's April calendar matches the 1912 April calendar. Which is, in a way, very similar and very scary, coincidence or not, all the same it makes me a titanic historian and enthusiast very nervous.
I kristoff willcox, titanic historian, and up til now myth breaker am positive that the calendar from 1912 April matches the 2019 April calendar exactly. so when you hear titanic's whistles blasting in chereborg, France, know that she is still trying to cross the Atlantic to complete her maiden voyage, but now understand that i don't believe in ghost's but i do believe in resurrection and being born again in Christ Jesus , but enough about me being a christian, where here to talk about titanic.
it is exactly 107 years to the day the titanic set sail on her ill-fated voyage, may those who sailed on her finally get some peace that they so desperately deserve.
We will remember the 1500+ people that perished an awful death that night. Hope that they are at peace and pray for those who are not. May they all rest in peace and bear no burdens upon their souls.
