File error and unexpected consequences · 6:13pm Apr 7th, 2019
I was thinking a few days ago that I should get on with finishing chapter 4 of Lightning Strikes Twice. So I loaded up a save file and did some work on it. I decided to go back and do some more today, to discover the file was working on had become corrupt. Then while scanning through the chapter titles on here to try and remind myself of the chapter title progression in 1 easy go, I realized that I'd already posted up chapter 4 and it's ending is nothing like I have on any working save, nor is it compatible with what I remember writing for chapter 5.
So the unexpected consequence is that I'm left wondering whether I try and cut the ending of chapter 4 to fit with where my idea for chapter 5 was going to start or whether I scrap my new idea I had which was going to have a vaguely cool reference to flutter-bat or whether I give up on that idea and try to pick up the pieces of the version I apparently already uploaded. Or a third option is that I try to edit what I've already written and cut out my planned start of chapter 5 by trying to make it the end of chapter 4.
Until I figure this one out, I guess I better work on something else.
