The story behind my name part 4 · 2:54pm Mar 20th, 2019
As promised, here's the next part. This part also has something to do with my latest story, as you'll soon see.
September 2, 2001:
As crazy as it souds, I really wanted to see Misty again. So I took part in the dip program again, hoping to do so. Luck must've really been on my side, cause she was the first dolphin we saw. Part of me doubts she even remembered me, but I like to think she did.
The next dolphin we met was a little common dolphin by the name of Bella. She was a nervous little thing. Apparently, she was rather new to taking part in the program, and wasn't exactly used to new people yet. So, the trainer turns to me and says to try and convince her to stick around. I honestly don't know what she was thinking asking me, but it was worth a try.
So, I've always been great with animals, part of the reason Fluttershy is my fave of the main 6. I was told to hold out my hand, and she'd swim and put her snout in it, and with any luck, she'd stay araound. Now, from my own experience, I knew dolphins had a way of knowing what a person is feeling. I tried using this to my advantage, hoping to calm her down. Well, let's just say it seemed to work a little too well. After we switched dolphins, she kept coming back. And she seemed to take a liking to me, cause she always seemed to pop up near me. If that name sounds familiar, then congratulations, you must've read my most recent story. She was one of my favorites, and I named one of my OCs after her.
Ok, so next up was Priscilla. She did something ather unexpected. 1 moment I was just standing there, watching her, next thing I knew, she swims up and starts pressing her snout into my right leg. I won't go into specifics, but let's just say her placement was a little too close for comfort if you get my meaning.
Ok, so 1 thing I should explain. In the months leading up to this trip, I'd been having some problems with that particular leg, ever since a bully kicked me in the knee. Have you ever had your knee feel like it's literally trying to bend backwards? Let me tell you, it is NOT PLEASANT! It had even done this earlier that day. The strange thing is, after this, it just stopped. I don't know what happened, but part of me wants to think the dolphin had something to do with it. Perhaps as thanks for helping Bella. But I may never know for sure.
Well, those are the important parts of my story. I did make later visits with varying strangeness happening. If anyone is honestly interested in hearing them, I can continue, just let me know. Anyway, Mistydolphin out.
