GSC did officialy break up. But a few of the GSC crew reformed into Vostok games

But apparently they aren't closed as of may this year, but stalker 2 is on indefinite hold until a new crew is formed. Since GSC practically fell over i doubt a new crew will form and stalker 2 will remain on the concept shelf sadly

But at the moment I'm waiting for Vostok games to produce their Suvarium, which should be released some time 2013. online stalker style gameplay, what can't go wrong...... me carrying around this

I don't know... A stalker-ish MMO isn't stalker. for me stalker is all about the solitude, trekking alone and stuff. A Zone full of stalkers like in most MMORPGs would be... ugh.
maybe if they do a player number restricted server system, I might just play it. For the moment I'm not thrilled by this game.
If they finally make stalker 2 I'm definitely buying it. Pre-order it. Ten times.

If i recall correctly (have looked into survarium for ages) is related a bit to the stalker events (although i maybe wrong)
they will most likely have to have a cap on the amount of players on a server at one time, cause with the graphics like stalker (probably end product will have better graphics), wide open world i doubt that they will be able to have a large player count on one server without it being laggy
