Yeah, as the title says, I've been on Fimfiction for a year now. Woohoo!
I still remember it like yesterday, like how on edge I felt when I first chose my avatar, wrote a comment, posted my first blog and every thing
- Oh dear, I was so scared of my own cringyness until I decided to give it a go. When someone actually replied to my comments and decided to become a follower - guys, you have no idea, but you just made my day the best way you possibly could.
Like a younger Fluttershy once said, it felt like taking the first baby steps. The more you venture into the uncharted territory, the more secured you will feel.
The feeling of reaching out and being connected to something you love for the first time seems so easy to be taken for granted. I guess you may get tired of a wonderland, too. But as I found out, even if the heart is hardened with the time, that soft spot still remains intact somewhere deep down.
My first year on Fimfiction has been the best one in my life. And I sure hope it's not gonna be the last...
Well, thank you, for sharing your kindness and the journey of a lifetime with this kirin in human disguise.
