    Three Years in the Making

    Greetings, all!

According to the little blurb in the statistics section, SoaP was originally published on 8 September 2012. That's slightly more than three years ago. High time, I thought, for a sequel!

    Story Time

Well, this has been a productive couple of weeks for me. When I mentioned having some unfinished stories sitting around, I didn't realize just how much I had. Celestia and Apple Bloom, Celestia and Luna, Twilight and Applejack, Twilight and Rainbow Dash, Celestia and Celestia...

    How Strong is Celestia?

Once again, it seems I have decided to dedicate considerable thought and mathematical analysis to a show about pastel-colored, magical, cartoon horses. My target this time is that loftiest of targets, subject of infinite speculation and praise: Princess Celestia herself.

Happy Guy Fawkes Day! · 3:01am Nov 6th, 2012

It's that time of year again! Light up those fireworks, roll out those effigies, and get to celebratin'!

For those of you who are not familiar, 5 November is Guy Fawkes Day (or Night, whatever). It is a British holiday, celebrating the failure of Guy Fawkes to blow up the Houses of Parliament on this day in 1605. Because we English types are a bit odd, we celebrate by lighting bonfires and throwing effigies of him onto them. Fireworks are generally involved as well. My family, as an English family living in the States, have brought over this tradition and introduced it to our friends. Over the years, we've become quite well-known for it, no doubt thanks to the objectively ridiculous quantities of fireworks my dad buys every year (fun fact: after 4 July, fireworks are much cheaper). Also, as we live on quite a large property with a substantial number of trees, the bonfire is similarly extravagant. This year, it stood over six feet tall, and at least as big across. Generally, our bonfires burn for several hours, with the ashes then going on to smoulder for the next two or three days. In short, it's great fun.

Oh, and apparently there's some type of voting thing going on tomorrow. I'd love to participate, and in fact I recently acquired US citizenship, but I miss the age requirement this year by about three months. Ah well, there's always the next election.
