So this year's Bronycon is the last one.
Well that sucks.
It's always been my dream to go to Bronycon at least once. It's like the pilgrimage of the brony I would say. Although if it really was that extremely important, it wouldn't be just a convention.
My plan was to go to Bronycon sometime in 2020 maybe even 2021. Bronycon 2019 was right before I became an adult, and I knew there was no way at all I'd be able to go to Maryland all by myself at that point. My only option would be to convince my family to go, maybe make it off as an excuse to visit D.C as well. Of course, I would still have to explain to them where the heck I was going and why it was so important to me, and really, I didn't feel like going through all that trouble.
I'm a bit of a closet brony. I don't own any pony merchandise at all. My family knows I watch it, but they don't know how much of a brony I really am. It's not really something I'll be able to convince them of real fast, and it's not worth the effort to do so.
So by 2020 or 2021, I'd be an adult, and I'd probably save up enough money to go. (Of course, this is all assuming I found a break in my schedule to do so, but let's not get into that.) Except, 2020 doesn't exist. Not in Bronycon.
I don't really know why I'm posting this. Maybe somehow things will change and I will go, this post will be a reminder to when I doubted myself Six months earlier.
But hey, there's always Galacon right?

That right there, my friend, is the best advice you can give to the both of us.
I don't live in the USA but always thought I'd attend the great Bronycon.
So here is to living the moment with the greater online-only Brony community. Being there in the flesh is just a bonus.

I used to not like the show because of stereotyping it as a “girls only” show. But starting in last September, and since then, I’ve seen another side to the show, and have grown a change of heart.
