Borderlands 2: Playthrough 2 · 12:19pm Jan 14th, 2019
Well, for my first day off this week, my main plan was to finish up the last of the Borderlands 2 Dragon Keep DLC with Brady.
I let him know ahead of time that if the Conference Call shotgun dropped, I had dibs.
Lo and behold, the slag variant.
He was lowkey salty for a moment, then realized that he had The Bee shield in his inventory and had forgotten about it, since he was underleveled when he picked it up.
We finished it up, and immediately started our True Vault Hunter Mode run. We're attempting to do as much of the main story while doing as little side missions as possible, because when we beat the story, everything we haven't done levels up to 50.
Sanctuary just warped away, we're about to be headed to The Fridge, and we haven't done a single side quest yet. Level 41.
In other news, 12 days to go!
Ah, The Bee. Personally, my all-time favourite shield as a Siren.
Anyway, 'tis rare to see people still playing BL2 these days, considering as it has been available in the market for so long. Though the game does age decently well, so gotta give credit where credit is due.
Bee + Sandhawk, and a Shamfleet build turns Ultimate Vault Hunter mode into a joke.

I bought it back in '15 when I was finally sick and tired of Destiny 1.0. Nabbed the GOTY edition during a Steam sale for $8. Fell to that price again six months later, brought Brady a copy.
Only now are we attempting a full three-playthrough co-op run.

We've gotten to level 43, just beat Bloodwing in the Preserve, and I'm really afraid that my Conference Call is starting to fade in effectiveness, with no real alternative at this point.

Conference Call is a great shotty, but sadly not as good as it was at launch. It got nerfed to hell.

We got up to "Where Angels Fear To Tread", and we finally have to do something on the side to get up to at least 45.
So we're starting the Bandit Slaughter, which will be as Brady brilliantly put it "the Conference Call's curtain call." It's barely making a dent in anything that's not basic bandits.
Just hoping I find something almost as good until I get lucky enough to get another leveled CC.
